What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some tools also use similar technologies, such as localStorage, to save information locally in your browser.

Necessary cookies

These are required for the website to work and stay secure. They cannot be turned off and require no consent.

  • Security and basic functionality

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to see visitor statistics and measure the website's performance (Core Web Vitals). These tools are cookie-free — they store no personal data in cookies — and are therefore always on. The legal basis is legitimate interest.

Because the tools are cookie-free, they require no consent.

Error tracking with Sentry

We use Sentry for error tracking — the tool captures uncaught JavaScript errors and stack traces from visitors' browsers so we can find and fix bugs. Sentry is cookie-free and uses no localStorage, and is therefore always on. It performs no session replay and no performance tracing, and is configured not to collect personal data — no IP address, cookies or user identifiers are attached to the errors. Data is stored within the EU (Germany). The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for the site's security, stability and bug-fixing.

Because Sentry is cookie-free, it requires no consent.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how the website is used through heatmaps and masked session recordings. Clarity uses cookies and localStorage and loads only after you have accepted it in the cookie banner. The legal basis is your consent. Microsoft is the processor and the data is pseudonymous.

Clarity does not load at all unless you actively consent.

The Bookspot booking service

When you make a booking, the Bookspot booking service is used. It is functionally necessary to complete a booking and may set cookies or use localStorage for this. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Managing your consent

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clicking “Manage cookies” in the footer, which reopens the cookie banner.

Storage

Data is kept only for as long as needed for each purpose. Statistics and recording data is stored with each provider in accordance with their own retention policy — Microsoft itself controls how long Clarity recordings are kept.

Pseudonymous identifiers

Some analytics tools may use pseudonymous identifiers. The Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) treats such data with care, so we keep a conservative approach: our always-on statistics are cookie-free, and Microsoft Clarity never loads without your consent.
